WORK IN PROGRESS! Any suggestions are welcome.
I needed a way to tidy up our raspberry pi cluster in a rack, so I came up with this quick and dirty design.
Tested with RaspberryPi 3 and 4 (should work with 2 as well). Takes 2 units.
The PiMounts latch onto the aluminium square tube.
I designed two variants of the PiMount:
1) Ethernet Up: makes the rack tidier and you have PoE hat for powering the RasPi,
2) EthernetDown: use this if you need to access the HDMIs or PowerSupply usb port.
I added an optional bezel cover for an oled display that can be mounted on the front. I used this model:
https://www.amazon.it/gp/product/B01MQPQF24/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You need to buy:
1) One rectangle aluminium tubing 30mm by 15mm (sorry imperial guys) 430mm long.
2) 2 M5x40mm countersunk screws with nuts.
3) optional Brass Standoffs (M25)
Side plates are meant to be printed with no support, while the Pi support need supports that will be remove
