Inspired by the incredible amount of existing options for Raspberry 3/4/5 rack mount solutions, I was looking for a slightly more professional looking and sturdier option.
The provided solution uses a case from fs.com which is normally used for fiber patch panels (open frame: https://www.fs.com/products/70419.html, or closed frame: https://www.fs.com/products/96427.html). In addition it uses the locks of the blank lids (https://www.fs.com/products/35526.html).
The printed elements are designed to perfectly fit the openings in the frame and provide a clever 4 slot Raspberry Pi 19" rack mount.
The locks use a simple push/pull lock mechanism (snap-in rivet). If you want to save some money, you can just use screws, but you'll loose a lot of the convenience. I highly recommend investing the few dollars :-)
I recommend printing with tree support (see attached images), since those are easy to remove and the slides are designed to require very limited support.
The little standoff is going
