A Raspberry Pi 4 enclosure design for 3D printers running on OctoPrint.
-On the front you can find the main ports like USB and WLAN, 2 slots for HDMI extension, 2 holes for LEDs (I desoldered them from the Pi and wired it to the front) and an optional bigger hole for ON-OFF pushbutton.
- At the back, a connector mount for main, 2 optional holes for Banana plugs (I use it for powering WS2812B strips) and a hole for AC switch
- On the top there are holes for 2 SUBD connectors (I use VGA connectors for the additional 3.5" TFT), holes for 2 additional power switches (Arduino, LEDs etc...)
-In the inside I use a 4010 ventillator. Mounted by 4x M4x30. The Pi is mounted by 4x M3x10 screws. I don't use the USB-C for powering the PI, instead I soldered wires to all the 5V and GND pins from below and powering it directly from there. (The PSU should give 5-5.5V and at least 3A)
- The cover should be printed by using change filament option. White for start, then black, red and finally gree
