I was wanting a versatile weatherproof case for Raspberry Pi camera projects.
hardware used:
glass lense http://www.dx.com/p/glass-lens-for-flashlights-33mm-10-pack-5644
5mm heat-set threaded insert. http://www.mcmaster.com/#94180a361/=14kc8i8
M5x12mm socket head bolt
BEC buck converter https://www.adafruit.com/products/1385
MicroUSB male https://www.adafruit.com/product/1390 I use just the plug and a bit of heat shrink instead of the shell.
SDPlug is printed using ninjaflex 25% fill
Updates
10/13/2016 fixed pivot on Post.stl
10/14/2016 added ball and socket swivel mount
10/22/2016 link to BEC and BEC cover
10/24/2016 wasn't happy with BEC cover so carved out back shell so that there is enough room to house BEC. Adjusted front shell to make micro USB connection easier when assembling.
11/4/2016 Major overhaul to make disassembly and repair easier. snap on front shell, snap on camera mount that is also refillable so camera orientation can be changed. Rubber cable gromm
