After getting a Pi 4 and Raspberry touch screen, I looked at all the commercial cases for the screen and Pi. Nothing fitted my needs, and most involved rotating the screen 180º, so I created a custom mount that doesn't rotate the screen, with room to plug the power etc from underneath and held the screen at an easy to view angle.
Designed in Fusion 360
The unit is two piece construction. The screen frame has a recess where the screen when fitted is flush with the face of the frame and held securely preventing it coming away from the frame. The frame will only fit one way due to the screen back. I have added the words "USB Side" to help
The Pi board back section fits inside the frame by way of a lip and fastened through the frame into the existing screen mount holes using 8mm M3 screws. Longer or smaller screws wont fit. The mount sides are made to fit 8mm to prevent bending of frame or screen.
I printed mine in ABS as it will be used outside but PLA will work.
