The Raspberry Pi Touchscreen case costs $44 from Element 14. No WAY!
This is my Raspberry Pi 7" touch screen case that I designed for my C-Bot style CoreXY printer. All of the USB ports and the Network port are accessible. The USB power port to the display is also accessible via an opening in the bottom of the case. Some bulky micro USB connectors may not fit without enlarging the opening, but it's just right for the cable I use. There is ample room for the ribbon cable between the Raspberry Pi and the display. There is also room to use the jumper wires to bring 5v power from the display up to the IO port on the Pi.
This version does not include access to the HDMI and audio port as they are not needed in this application. I may add those later if there is a request.
Please note that the horizontal spacing between the tangs on the rear of the case is intentionally a little narrower than the spacing of the slots that they snap into.
*This is NOT a mistake - it was done to provi
