I designed this thing for mounting my PiCam to my garage ceiling, but you could really use it for a variety of surfaces, hanging or standing. Vertical vs. Horiztonal orientation of the PiCam video can be changed with a few quick settings.

It was specifically designed for the "Kuman for Raspberry PI Camera Module 5MP 1080p OV5647 Sensor HD Video Webcam Supports Night Vision SC15 (Raspberry PI Camera Module)", which can be found on Amazon and other places.

Assembly of the mount requires a mixture of M3 screw/nut hardware. You can find mixed assortments of M3 hardware easily on Amazon.

ABOUT THE MOUNTING BASE:
Mounting Screws: Two are required. The base of the mount has a 3.5 mm radius counterbore for the screw heads, and a 2mm radius hole for the screws. I just used some random dry wall screws that I had around the house.
