I wanted a Raspberry Pi camera mount which holds the camera board nicely but at the same time gives me a lot of range for adjustments.
To assemble, slip the camera board with the ribbon cable attached into one of the two sphere pieces, then slide the on the second one. There are provisions for a pair of M3x16 and M3 hex nuts to hold the two halves of the sphere together, but they aren't really needed. The camera board keeps the two halves in alignment, and the holder is strong enough to keep them together.
For maximum adjustments, use the holder with the vertical hole in the bottom, so you can rotate the holder as well as the sphere in the holder. Or use the holder without holes to embed into your own designs.
Tried with v1 and v2 camera boards.
