I created this to insulate the Input/Output connectors for the Network and USB ports from adjacent electrical connections. I suggest you use two-face take to connect it the metal I/O cases. It was made to allow the Pi to be used as part as one one the PDP Emulation kits (i.e. PiDP-11), but I have found it useful in any situation where the Pi is used as an internal PC processing unit that is very near other electric circuits. I happened to use 'PLA Basic' filament, however any non-metalic filament should work well.
