A rack mountable 1U case. Can be assembled in several different ways, depending on your needs.
My two setups were:
- 15-bay with single Raspberry Pi 4 8GB
- 12-bay with dual Raspberry Pi 4 2GB
For the 15-bay print:
- (5) SATA 3-bay
- (2) Double Back Tray Cover
- (2) Double Back Tray
- (2) Side Arm
- (1) Single Back Tray Cover
- (1) Single Back Tray
For the 12-bay print:
- (4) SATA 3-bay
- (2) Double Back Tray Cover
- (2) Double Back Tray
- (2) Side Arm
- (2) Single Back-Front Tray Cover
- (2) Single Back-Front Tray
For assembly, I used #4x0.5" wood screws. Due to various warping, I sometimes has to drill out the built in holes a bit more to prevent splitting the ABS. The Raspberry Pi sits in the single tray while a 7-port powered USB 3.0 hub sits in the double tray. I used the Plugable 60W since I was using HDDs and not SSDs. If using HDDs, be sure to have adequate air flow in font of the unit as the drives will get very hot, or use my 2U 80mm fan mount.
