Presenting, the most over engineered Raspberry Pi Project!
It’s heavy, its thick, and there are no numbers or symbols on the keyboard!
Lots of credit is due to Jay Doscher (not sure of his username on Thingverse, so please tag accordingly if anyone knows!), who came up with this concept / idea.
The same with many of the Cyberdeck community too, so credit to them for lots of pictures and posts online on instagram and this subreddit too.
Full parts list is available if you like, but the summary is below:
Peli 1300 Case
Wimaxit M728
26800mAh Battery Power Bank
8 BitDo Pro 2 Bluetooth Controller
Razer DeathAdder Essential (2021) Mouse DROP + OLKB Planck mechanical keyboard (inc V7 kit) + Coiled USB C Cable (USB-A to USB-C) 1.5m total
ALFA AWUS036ACM USB Wifi Dongle
Next stages is to work on a V2, featuring an HDMI output for the 2nd output, an On/Off switch so that I don’t have to use the little USB-C dongle (stop the screen draining the battery, even with the OS
