This is a simple window mount for the Raspberry Pi Zero with a mini camera.
It's just the first version of what I hope will be a more capable camera mount. I want to make the camera head swivel so it can be aimed up or down. Right now, the Sainsmart camera just fits in the opening for the camera enough to hold it in without glue or a fastener. I can tilt the camera head up and down. Not a perfect solution, but good enough until I design a swivel mount for the camera head.
This project uses:
A Raspberry Pi Zero W ( Wifi model )
A Sainsmart Mini Raspberry Pi Zero Camera found here:
https://www.sainsmart.com/products/mini-size-5-megapixel-camera-module-for-raspberry-pi-zero
Simple M2.5 brass standoffs to mount the Pi to the camera mount ( found on Amazon )
2 Suction cups that I found at Michael's craft store in the US. The suction cups just pop in the holes on the mount.
More details soon on the software that I use, but the basics can be done with Raspian OS and the Python
