The standard Raspberry Pi Zero and many pHat format add on boards require a header or a socket to be soldered onto them. To do this efficiently we designed this solder jig. The jig holds the Pi Zero or pHat module using lugs through the corner mounting holes. The height of the jig then allows either a male 40 way header or a female 40 way socket to be easily soldered to a Pi Zero or a pHat format module.
If you find there is a bit of play between the header and the board you may have bits of raft attached to the base of the jig raising its height. In this case you will need to shave the excess from the base of the jig or place a small piece of thin card under the header.
