Raven Pro Scanner Stand

This is a stand to hold a Raven Pro Scanner and give it a tilt to make it easier to see the screen and save desk room. This lifts the back of the scanner approximately 3 inches. You can still pull out both bottom paper trays while the scanner is on this stand.

Use 1.25" long #6 screws to fasten rods. Sheet metal screws work well. I also put 4 rubber feet on the bottom.

The connecting rods are 3/8 diameter and the pilot holes for the screws are 1/8". I ended up running a 3/8 drill bit through the big holes to clean them up. I also ran a 5/32 drill bit through the 1/8" holes on the bases (not the connecting rods) so that the screw wouldn't bite into the side stands. This allowed me to "pull" the rods further into the holes by tightening the screws. It will still work without enlarging the holes.
