I designed this simple tire balancer for my 1/10 scale RC tires. It fits buggy, stadium truck, and short course tires. Outside of the printed parts, you'll also need:
- 5x10x4 bearings (4)
- M3x6 BHCS (4)
- Number 005 o-rings (3/32"IDx15/64"ODx9/128"T, in a kit from Harbor Freight) (4)
- 3/32" music wire (5")
- Modeling clay or poster tack (to use as weight inside of the wheel)
Depending on your printer, you may need to drill out the hole that the rod goes through on the centering pieces. The o-rings go inside of the ends of the centering pieces to "grip" the rod, which keeps the wheel in position.
As an alternative, you can print the beam with feet and use 4 M3x6 screws to level the tire balancer on your work surface (not shown in pictures).

Update: Added files for 1/8th scale (truggy, e-buggy, etc.); side, centering nut, and 17mm hex (Note: I don't have one of these ve
