RC tire holder

8/11/17: Added lids with holes for the pin, stem 4mm longer.


After browsing the available tire holders, I decided to design my own.

This one prints flat, it secures the tires, it is light and has a disk as a lid to write about the tires.

There are 3 stem (column) versions - half height (2 tires), full height with holes also in the middle (to be able to secure two tires. These holes are a weak point and this stem can be broken more easily) and a version with holes on top only.

There are two disk versions: one plain, and one engraved with the tires position - bottom tire is Rear Right, etc.

To assemble, you insert the base on the hole on the bottom of the stem.
Depending on the printer, the holes on the stem may need drilling with 2mm drill.
You insert the tires and then insert the lid, with one hole above and one below.
You insert the pin on the holes, then rotate the lid to secure it. If you find it too difficult to insert the pin on both holes, just lay it flat an
