The new version uses an Estes BT-60 body tube in place of the paper towel tube used in this design, which makes for a slightly better rocket.

PRINGLES CAN WARNING: Pringles changed their can's recently. The new cans have the same outside diameter but are thicker so they have a smaller inside diameter. Designs made for the new cans will fit the old cans, but be looser in fit. Designs made for the old cans may not fit well in the new cans. You can tell the difference between the cans by looking at the "Pringles Guy" on the can. If he's black and white, it's a new can.
