This model addresses two key challenges of previous accessory storage solutions. The first issue is that they significantly alter the original aesthetic of the BambuLab A1 mini. Traditional accessory storage models create visible compartments, either in the indentation between the Y-axis rail and the screen or in front of the Z-axis rail. While many designs achieve a “Cinderella fit,” they inevitably modify the original design conceived by Bambu Lab. In this model, the storage solution leverages the mount plate of the rear spool holder, maintaining the front-facing design with minimal changes. The second issue is the lack of flexibility. Users likely to be interested in this model frequently change their accessories, which necessitates a dynamic storage system. For this reason, I adopted the brilliant Gridfinity system, allowing users to easily adjust to changes in accessory count or type.
