Do you own a rebreather, gas analyzer, or other accessory which uses the common white plastic 3-pin Molex connectors? Have you struggled to unplug them from the galvanic oxygen sensor?
This is perhaps the design I am most proud of and it’s so simple. A tiny little hat that clips into the white plastic connector, engaging with the middle (commonly unused) pin space. It lives on the connector full time and withstands hundreds of cycles of plugging and unplugging. No slipped grip, no pulled wires, no need for pliers, big fingers or little fingers, it works.
This has been tested to work on the sensors inside Divesoft Liberty rebreathers, Divesoft HE/O2 Legacy aluminum analyzer, Divesoft Solo and Solo O2 Analyzers, as well as Divesoft's DNA Analyzer.
In addition because Liberty uses 4 sensors and Fiber Lasers are more common I supplied a little jig to hold all 4 to engrave sensor numbers on them.
The tricky bit here is the support is part of the print and must be carefully trimmed away
