Nothing makes me crazy more than some half roll of filament I know I am not going to use hogging up one of my spools. Learning from the genius design of the Bambu refills, I designed this spool to allow for recapturing the partially used refill so you can put your spool back into action. Even without ever using the recapture, this is a good, lightweight but sturdy spool that is way cheaper to print than the Bambu equivalent. Slide a strip of velcro or a zip tie through the four slots to lock down the leftover refill and then unlock the spool and store it. The top of the spool is designed to let the hold strips pass without a ton of friction to make removal and putting back on the spool easy. I've been using these for a while and refining and I think I finally have it good enough to release.
