Recorder Arm Child

This is a brace that clips on to a soprano recorder. It acts as a third arm coming out of the player's chest. As such, it allows the player to use less effort to hold the recorder. This adaptation was designed for musicians with limb differences to increase accessibility to the recorder.

Users may want to consider covering the recorder clip with felt if using a wooden instrument. In addition, users may want to cover the other end with foam or something else comfortable.

The rod is 100 mm long (4 inches). It was designed for an elementary student to use.
