Thanks El_Doctore for making your design!. I made it rectangular to better fit our interior.

Cover was added to ensure the holder does not hang on the socket under weight of the HomePod mini. Putting the cover in place after inserting the HomePod cable and plug can be a bit sturdy and may require giving it a tap with some kind of tool. Once in place it is stays in place and holds the holder straight on the socket.
