I have Avalon Basic sights on several recurve bows but they keep breaking on one weak spot when people handle them roughly. Replacement part is not available and new sight package is 15€. So I modelled the part and fixed the weak spot and now the printed part costs 0.2€. I think I have bought this sight 6 times before thinking this shouldn't be this expensive, there must be a better way. Oh yeah, I have a 3D printers - facepalm - . I made several iterations and like the saying goes, if you don't succeed the first time, keep trying until you make it :) Also measuring everything correctly is on my todo-list when next project starts! NOTICE: This is not replacement for the entire Avalon Basic sights, just the part that keeps breaking. Use all metal parts from your original sights and move them here.
