Stabilizing Plate Remix Options
Several remixes of the stabilizing plate for Trobinou's excellent push block. I started with the Stabilizing_Plate_Repaired.stl file from Maverick_makes.
While assembling the push block, I realized there might be certain rip fence placements, or for left-handed people, where the heel on the stabilizing plate would not be usable.
Each of the models includes a heavier heel. My thinking was that it could use reinforcement in case it had to absorb the force from some kickback. The location of the face of the heel which contacts the workpiece and the depth has not changed. This should make it so it still aligns with the retractable tailpiece.
There are 4 files included with this remix. I'll detail the differences below.
Files
Stabilizing Plate Bigger Heel.stl - the Stabilizing_Plate_Repaired.stl file from Maverick_makes with a heavier heel.
Stabilizing Plate RL Heel.stl - Stabilizing plate with a heavier heel on both sides
