Replacement Joystick for Tron Atari 2600 Controller

The Tron controller works on the same principle as normal CX40 joysticks using an insert with a flexible ring which breaks down over time, however the readily available standard CX40 insert replacements are not compatible with the Tron controller. This replacement finally fixes that and allows you to return this cool controller back to full function. The design is printed as two pieces to maximize strength and flexibility.

The pieces have been angled the way to print them at maximum strength. The top portion should be printed on its side so the slices run the length of the stick, providing maximum strength. The bottom portion should be printed horizontally with supports so that the strength runs through the circular portion and will prevent it from breaking, but it is not too strong so that there is flex and will not break your PCB board.
