*Replacement LiftMaster remote cover*
If the slide cover breaks off your LiftMaster remote, which is quite easy, then you need a cover to replace it. Mine is a TX2/4EV but the TX4EV looks the same, I think it's just the number of transmit (tx) buttons, mine has 2, but there is space for 4.
The idea in his cover is that without it the buttons are easy to activate accidentally and so unintentionally opening the door.
The whole remote slips into this cover if the original top slide cover is missing. The cover has a notch inside which grips onto the remote so it doesn't slide off.
Edit: uploaded another version with a larger notch and a couple of mm taller case.
