replacement part drawing machine from crunch labs

my son was putting together a crunch labs kit called the drawing machine. one piece snapped during assembly. I made a quick replacement part and it works fine. maybe someone else will run into the same problem and need a quick solution? here you go. It is the blue part that attaches to one of the yellow spinning wheels.
