I play volleyball and break a pair of glasses every season (which is why I buy cheap ones...), but this year it happened early in the season, and I decided that I was going to build my own replacement... after all the lenses were perfectly fine.
The frame (green plastic) is modeled after, and uses the lenses from a pair of inexpensive Foster Grant "Slam Dunk" Polarized sunglasses. (Frame name was imprinted on on temple of the original frames).
I designed these replacement frames from scratch, and tweaked the design a lot to get the lenses to snap in and hold firm just right. I used the original temples (black plastic) and hinge screws.
