Respirator Face Mask

This is a reusable mask that can be used to help prevent infection for the wearer from those around them and also protect others from the wearer should they become infected. The mask itself needs supports, the other models do not. I have uploaded a template to help with cutting the filter material to the correct size. This template doubles as a spacer to go between the filter and the knob. This prevents the filter from wrinkling and allows you to keep the template with the mask. I opted to use a Filtrete Furnace Filter by 3M with a Micro Performance Rating of 1550. These furnace filters do not contain fiberglass making them an ideal filter. I purchased a 16 x 25 x 4 furnace filter and cut it up into smaller filters.
