retractable omnidirectional ball caster wheel

Inspired by the brilliant omnidirectional caster wheels by Claymuh i made my own model: https://makerworld.com/en/models/716411-omnidirectional-ball-caster-wheel-print-in-place#profileId-647181 I designed the model for my Ikea Lack table where my Printer sits on. I wanted to have fixed feet during printing and still be able to move the table between prints. I made the ball retractable by turning the pin so the table would sit fixed on the flat surface. It takes quite some force to break the mechanism free after printing. Don't hesitate to apply quite some force on the back like shown in the video. I used the back of the Bambu Scraper to do it. This should also break the ball free. Even with the small layer height the ball needs some smoothing. But after that they work great.Boost MeHave fun printing and support me if you like!
