I didn't have the right magnets to make this cool solder dispenser, and I didn't want to make it with just the friction-fit lid, but I did have some M3 5x4 brass hot melt inserts and some M3x5 cap screws (M3x6 should also work) so I reconfigured the top and bottom to use them instead. I thought I'd share those modifications. It's overengineered for what it needs but it's what I had on hand and redesigning it was free, so here we find ourselves. All the rest of the pieces from the original model fit. I modified the thicknesses and depths of the holes and changed the thickness of the lid and height of the body to accommodate the screws and inserts while keeping the inside chamber dimensions the same so the height of the original gears wouldn't also need to be modified. It's technically no longer symmetrical since the modifications added 2mm to the lid height. But it seems to work just the same, apologies to any perfectionists.
