I looked at some webcam mounts but none really appealed to me.
I wanted to be open about the positioning of the webcam, so the mounts attached to the printer were out of the question. With free positioning, I can easily change the position as needed without having to print new parts.
However, most mounts are rigid.
So I started to deal with CAD and was then able to finish designing this part here. After 4 test prints that were not entirely successful, the 5th version finally worked as I had imagined.
I printed with support here so that the holes look better with the low resolution, but this is not absolutely necessary.
A support is required for the pin, as it is suspended in the air by the ball head.
The inner part may have to be sanded down with some sandpaper so that it slides cleanly into the outer part.
I printed the foot without top and bottom so that the infill is directly visible. This is much faster and still looks good.
Everything can be simply plugged togeth
