I made a replacement filter box for a kitchen fan system which replaces the original cardboard one shown in the first picture. The system is a Best, model PF6. It sucks air from the stove down under the counter and out through a carbon filter. Because the carbon filter that it came with is expensive ($54 US, with shipping) and has limited availability, I decided to make my own. The print is of the box which holds the filter material. The filter material you can get from Amazon (https://a.co/d/07Vd7mKC). $16 buys you a pad of filter material 16" x 48" x 0.2". Since you only need a 4" x 36" section, this is enough filter material to fill four filter boxes.
To do the box, you need to print two each of parts 1 and 2, plus the one handle. The thing then assembles using 6 screws. There's a photo of the screw I used and various photos of the assembly, including some of the filter material.
