3D Printed face shield for the COVID-19 emergency by Garageeks (www.garageeks.com)
This Personal Protective Equipment is not certified, however it has been designed with the input from the Varese Hospital of Lombardy, Italy
Build materials: ABS for structure, PET for transparent sheet.
Reusable through isopropanol cleaning.
Included STEP file for modifications.
It can be printed on any FDM printer with bed size of at least 22 x 12 cm
Print time with 0.3mm layer: 45 minutes for each head part, 1h for visor and bridges
Required material
5x M3 6 mm screws (similar to those for screwing DVD burners into desktop PCs)
2x M4 12 mm screws
2x washers
1x Plexiglas sheet or similar 30x33cm thickness 0.25mm
20 cm of adhesive neoprene strip for better comfort
10 cm of elastic to be fixed on the back after having made a couple of holes
