Rev Battery Box

I designed this Rev Battery Box for our FTC team (#8907 BlueBoxBots). It was designed for the goBilda hole pattern and M4 bolts. I believe Rev channels use the same hole distance. The strap will hold the battery securely even if mounted upside down. It can mount from 4 sides (left and right sides, bottom, and back). If you use a back mount like we did, the strap will be held in place by the goBilda C channel. If you use the sides or bottom, you can use the Strap Retainer to hold the Strap in place.

You will need a heat set threaded insert on the inside insert (put the heat set threaded insert through the flange side of the inside insert for strength). You can use a 3mm heat set threaded insert. To assemble the inside insert to the hook, add a dab of Loctite and snug up the screw but do not overtighten.

We used Ninjaflex for our strap because it has 660% elongation.
