This enclosure is specifically designed to fit my common-mode RF choke built with 12-turns of RG-58 around an FT240-43 ferrite toroid (this is optimized for 40m to 20m HF, but G3TXQ has measurements for other bands as well).
The enclosure has an inner diameter of 75mm and inner height of 30mm. As the diameter ideally will not change much, more or fewer turns around any FT-240-XX toroid should also fit in this enclosure. This model may be scaled to adjust the dimensions slightly to handle variants (for example, different feedline), but different sized hardware may be required.
This enclosure is designed to be printed as two identical halves that lock together. It may be secured either with zipties or a single M5 screw and nut. This enclosure is not water tight, but should protect the toroid from most reasonable impacts.
