Jedes Pixel besteht aus 3 Zylindern mit variablem Radius. Dass es nur 3 Filamentwechsel braucht, sind die 3 Zylinder unterschiedlich hoch. Von unten nach oben sind die Zylinder rot; rot-grün; rot-grün-blau; eingefärbt. Von oben sieht man nur die oberste Farbe.
