Ribbon-Cable Cutter

This is a cutter for ribbon-cable (0.9mm diameter and 1.27mm pitch, the typical "computer-cable") for up to 20 wires or up to ten wires with a pitch of 2.54mm.

At first I thought of making a longer cable-guide with a scale on it, but no matter how long you make it ... someone will always need a few inches more. So I reduced the guide to 50mm and use an additional measuring tape. Maybe in the the future I'm gonna make a version for up to 40 wires, but at the moment I'm okay with this one.

There are two versions of the bladeholder. One is in one piece, the other's got holder and button separated and which have to be glued together. This is, for if you have trouble printing the one-piece-version nicely.

I printed one in PLA, where there is no need for any supports. The one I did in ABS I did with an 8-lines brim and supports for the one-piece-bladeholder.
