Ring Doorbell Holder Door Mount Solid Molding

A family member ordered a Ring Doorbell and generic universal doorbell door mount for their new home. The idea behind the door mount enclosure is that you do not need to make permanent modifications to the door or exterior wall (apartment friendly).

The door mount that was purchased supplied foam in a universal attempt to secure the camera inside their enclosure. The foam was unsatisfactory and a potential thief could easily push the camera inside the enclosure with a bit of force to get it out if they wanted to.

I created this to work with the Ring Video Doorbell (2020) release. The idea was to create a perfect fit molding for the camera to sit in, while preventing a potential thief from being able to push the camera and wiggle it out of the housing.

The doorbell camera has vents on the bottom that I tried to accommodate air flow for. Not pretty but effective.
