This project features a LED-ring-light for the Sony A6000 camera. It works for all lenses with a diameter of 75 mm or below.
It contains a series of LEDs from a shortened 12V LED strip. Those LED strips are easy to find and inexpensive. You just have to make sure to buy LEDs with a sufficient lighting performance. You can power the ring light with a 12V power supply or a 11.1V LiPo battery (or any other 12V battery). The ring clamps directly to the camera.
