This modified fidget spinner design serves as a row counter for knitting projects. I remixed the original spinner concept by adding numbers to the spinning disk that matches the diameter of the outer ring. This creates just enough resistance to prevent accidental turns while still allowing for intentional counting.After printing, simply add a reference mark with permanent marker or paint on one side of the outer ring to track your rows. The controlled spinning mechanism ensures your row count stays accurate even when the counter is stored in your project bag. Changes for next modification:Add holes for each number in the middle layer and a stopper on the outer layer such that there can be haptic feedback whenever the number is changed. (Currently, I can't figure out how much wider to make the outer layer and I think I wasted too much plastic already)Built in indicator. Possible a different color that wraps under the ring.
