Rising Screw v0.1 (prototype)


This is a prototype for a raising mechanism that can go from flat to raised, while being capable of supporting a large surface and rising at a linear speed.

The aim is to eventually have a version that can be tied to a single stepper motor on the inner-most ring and have the top be stationary, such that it would be raised at constant increments for each step. This would ideally be able to sidestep the need for e.g. multiple steppers and rods.

This whole prototype prints in one go, make sure you have supports disabled.
