I created this rivet nut spacer during my campervan conversion (e.g. Fridge Cabinet Build/Install). The spacer is used whenever there is a gap between the wall and the cabinet to be installed. This prevents the rivet nut from being pulled out when fastening the screw, and prevents deforming the wall and/or the cabinet. This is a parametric model, to allow changing the total length of the spacer (wall-to-cabinet distance).Use “Customize” button at the top of this page. I tested the spacers with the following rivet nuts:M6 Rivet Nut.M8 Rivet Nut. Tips: I like to preinstall the spacer over the rivet nut with a dab of CA glue. This way, the spacers stay in place when the cabinet is removed/reinstalled.Use a high-temperature resistant filament (I'm using ABS). Photos coming soon.
