Pretty smart system from the (vintage) Robbe Dynamics 1/7 RC Car. I think it could be used by other models since it has to be attached to the frame with only 2 screws. More or less universal.
The distance between the 2 screws that connects to the frame is 16,5 mm.
I used a little metal pin (like bicycle spoke) to put the "slider" into the post and than applied a drip of superglue to keep it from sliding out.
