Mounting clips for holding my clear cases on our Robo 3D printers.
I bring the printers to schools and these cases keep fingers out of the moving, hot printers and keeps cold air off the prints while allowing for great viewing. The clear cases are very easy to lift on and off.
The "Part A" is glued to the Robo 3D case and the "Part B" is glued to the clear plastic case.
Printed with 100% fill using ABS.
6-8-2016 Added corner reinforcement pieces and some information about the clear acrylic cases. So far I've made 4 of these cases; two for each printer. I cut the parts from three 18" x 24" sheets of 1.9mm thick acrylic which I got at Lowe's for about $10 each. I used a table saw for the straight cuts, and a scroll saw for the curves on the two side pieces.
Each case is 5 pieces:
2pc. - Sides = 280mm X 259.9mm
1pc. - Top = 258mm X 283mm
1pc. - Back = 280mm X 283mm
1pc. - Bottom = 170mm X 283mm
