Robo 3D R1 usb plug protector

The Robo 3D R1 and R1+ printers don't protect the USB plug from accidental impact. This simple part acts as a housing around the USB port to protect your R1 in case you accidentally elbow the USB plug. I simply super glued mine to the exterior of my R1 and it works fine. I'm no longer worried about elbowing the USB cable and breaking a solder joint inside the R1.
