I wanted to be able to build an octoprint server into my robo3d but still be able to easily access it without taking apart my printer. I set up a pcduino nano4 (which is just a rebrand of the NanoPi M1) with Armbian and Octoprint, and created this deck plate to attach it to the printer. I wanted easy access to the ethernet port, the ability to add wifi if I wanted later, and the ability to use flash drives with my printer. Now, I can. The vent holes are set up in a way to deflect any debris from collecting on the board. Debris should fall down to the tray and away from the board and its heatsink.
