Robot Lawnmower Caster Wheel

I made a crude modification of the base to allow addition of home made caster wheel.

I also modified the base hole alignment for my Flymo 1200R.

Print the 3 parts, then with some 8mm bolts or threaded bar, plus nuts and washers and 3x 608 bearings you can assemble a caster wheel for your mower. I used thread locking compound to prevent the nuts coming loose over time.

Then it's just the case of swapping the original wheel out for this one.

This has been suitable for my purpose, and is tough enough for my lawn, but I cannot guarantee it will suit all lawns especially rough ones, or ones with long grass.

Printed it in PLA with 5 perimeters and 15% infill.
