I wanted to further showcase my nomad sculpt abilities with this year robotic fire horse model. I know it’s not perfect but I had lots of fun modelling and then getting my airbrush and paints out to this give this a 3 tone look! I tried my best to mimic features of a horse in a Greek style armour set, but then have his body be made of mechanical parts. My skills can get me this far for now, and its quite hard to do the panel type features using nomad sculpt as you have to flatten the surfaces and getting this evenly done required me changing brush settings! I painted this with - Grey primer, Gold and bronze base coats, then hit it with blue from the top right, after I then used a deep red paint and hand painted red lines on the panels, finally I used a silver paint to cover most of the panels - leaving some of the gold and bronze to pop through!
