R-/S-ocket

The R-/S-ockets (i.e. Rocket Socket) have been developed to have a better handling inside the laminar flow in any needed research lab but mainly in cell biology laboratory. They can be plugged together in any desired way, but are also easily removable with only one hand by just lifting one of them out of the assembling. With a bit of tension across the assembling even a one-armed bandit can move the whole thing. Works best if 4 RSockets or more are stacked together.
They should be made out of PLA to withstand 70% ethanol. Moreover, if for example "PLA ingeo 3D850 Biopolymer" is used, they are autoclavable and can withstand temperatures up to 125 °C. The calculated material cost of a single cube is about 2.50 CHF or 2 Euro with the above mentioned PLA and can therefore be easily replaced if damaged or lost.
Their strength lies within their multi use: In a single cube can be stored either a 50 ml or a 15 ml falcon tube and 4 smaller tubes at the same time like 1 ml or 2
